The technological and geopolitical tectonic shifts we’re living through demand a 360-degree view to grasp their full scope. I have the right tools, thinking frameworks, and real-life experience to interpret the current global context in ways others can’t.

I’ve witnessed these shifts firsthand from some of the world’s premier platforms, including Harvard Law School, Tsinghua University, Global Affairs Canada, and the Foshan government—right in the center of China’s manufacturing might.

From the intersection of technology and geopolitics to the rise of China as an advanced manufacturing powerhouse and global investor, and the West’s push for nearshoring, I’ve stood at the crossroads of these changes. What sets me apart is my ability to understand these shifts from multiple vantage points.

Some people may have experience in Silicon Valley, others in China, and some in the Global South. But it’s rare to find someone with all three perspectives. Yet, understanding today’s world order requires exactly that.

I understand what each side is striving for and what it takes to balance and satisfy their legitimate aspirations.

Business leaders and public officials have frequently sought my insights on these matters. And what continues to surprise me the most is how little effort Western leaders make to truly understand their geopolitical rivals.

Too often, short-term problem-solving overshadows long-term strategic thinking, and personal egos play an outsized role even in decisions affecting war and peace.
